About Us
Step To Soul. Together We Glow.
We believe great dance training develops more than great dancers.
Through dance, our students build confidence, friendships, discipline and a sense of belonging, while learning to perform and express themselves.
Anita Arora
Founder & Artistic Director
Anita is the founder and creative director of Anita Arora Dance Company, with over 15 years of professional teaching, choreography and performance experience.
She trained in Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Urban Dance and Choreography, alongside extensive training in Bollywood and Bhangra, and later studied Kathak under Padmashri Guru Pratap Pawar MBE. Anita is also an Associate Member of UKA Dance and is qualified to enter students for internationally recognised dance examinations.
Her performance and choreography experience includes Wembley Stadium, Watford Colosseum, the Olympic Torch Relay, music videos and work alongside artists including Shreya Ghoshal, Navin Kundra and Sukshinder Shinda.
Dance became deeply personal to Anita after the loss of her brother, helping her through depression and rebuilding her confidence. That experience shaped her belief that dance should develop more than technique.
She is especially passionate about empowering young girls to follow their dreams, grow into confident leaders and, where they choose, progress into becoming dance teachers themselves.
Her mission is to help students build confidence, express themselves and feel completely at home on the dance floor.

Meet The Team
Miss Kangna
Senior Dance Teacher

Kangna began her journey with Anita Arora Dance Company as a student and has developed into one of the company's senior teachers.
She has trained in Bollywood, Bhangra and Kathak, performed extensively with the company and helped organise the Time To Glow production in 2026.
Dance has played an important role in building Kangna's own confidence, and this strongly influences her approach to teaching.
Known for her encouraging and playful personality, Kangna wants her classes to feel like a second home — somewhere students can dance, build friendships and grow in confidence.
Miss Manya
Dance Teacher

Manya has trained for many years in Bollywood and Bhangra and has performed at shows, events and competitions.
Her love of dance naturally developed into teaching, and she particularly enjoys helping students build new skills while becoming more confident in themselves.
Her classes focus on creating an encouraging environment where students can express themselves, enjoy learning and leave feeling proud of what they have achieved.
Outside dance, Manya also teaches Punjabi and enjoys working with children and being actively involved in her community.
Miss Hanita
Dance Teacher

Hanita has trained for four years across Bhangra, Bollywood and Kathak, alongside gaining experience performing, assisting and teaching within Anita Arora Dance Company.
She is passionate about helping students experience the same confidence and enjoyment that dance has given her.
Her teaching focuses on encouragement, creativity and self-expression alongside developing strong dance foundations.
Hanita's ambition is to continue developing as a teacher and creating performances where every student has an opportunity to feel confident and shine on stage.
Miss Ria
Teacher & Wedding Choreographer

Ria began dancing at around seven years old and has developed experience across Bollywood, Bhangra, Giddha, Punjabi folk, freestyle, jazz, jazz-funk and hip-hop, alongside foundational Kathak training.
She has performed at weddings, school events and other performances and has experience teaching both children and adults.
Ria has a particular talent and passion for wedding choreography, creating routines that reflect each couple's personality while helping inexperienced dancers feel comfortable and confident performing.
For Ria, dance is about confidence, expression and enjoyment rather than simply perfecting steps.
Miss Gunisha
Dance Teacher Assistant

Gunisha has been dancing for five years and has trained primarily in Bollywood and Bhangra with Anita Arora Dance Company.
After completing the company's teacher training programme, she expanded her training into Kathak foundations while developing her teaching, communication and classroom-management skills.
Having experienced how dance helped build her own confidence and friendships, Gunisha is passionate about helping younger students experience the same sense of belonging.
Miss Shreya
Dance Teacher Assistant

Shreya has been dancing since the age of three and has developed experience across Bollywood, Bhangra and Kathak.
She is passionate about helping younger students discover what they are capable of, both as dancers and as individuals.
Shreya believes dance should be a space where students can express themselves freely, build confidence and form friendships without feeling judged.
Outside dance, Shreya enjoys cricket, swimming and boxing.
Miss Jia
Dance Teacher Assistant

Jia has been dancing with Anita Arora Dance Company for 10 years, giving her a strong connection to the company, its teaching style and its community.
Alongside dance, she is currently studying at university.
She particularly enjoys working with children and has a special interest in supporting children with SEN, helping them feel comfortable and included within the class environment.
Dance has brought Jia joy throughout her life, and she enjoys helping younger students experience that same confidence, connection and enjoyment through dance.
OUR VALUES
Confidence
We want students to believe in themselves.
Community
We grow together and support one another.
Quality
Strong foundations and excellent teaching matter.
Performance
Students should have opportunities to experience the confidence that comes from stepping onto a stage.
Kindness
Being a great dancer means very little if we don't also grow into kind, supportive people.
